Multi-crate membership
One MP3 lives in many crates without duplicating audio on disk. The foundation of the v1.0 schema.
Per-crate folder paths
Send each crate's MP3s to a different drive or folder. Useful for USB-stick DJs and multi-disk setups.
Sync queue
Paste a second link while the first is downloading. SyncX queues them and runs back-to-back automatically.
Larger playlist support
Long playlists end-to-end without artificial limits. Currently in private testing.
Mobile share-sheet
Find a track on your phone, hit Share, send it to SyncX. Desktop syncs the link on next launch.
Folder-move tolerance
Move a crate folder in Explorer, SyncX finds the new location and re-points its records. No more orphaned tracks.
Cloud library backup
Encrypted snapshot of crate state so a fresh install on a new laptop pulls everything back. Multi-device sync.
More music sources
Same paste-and-go flow with a wider source pool. Public APIs and curation depth permitting.
Auto BPM and key analysis
Optional. Most DJs let Serato or VirtualDJ do this on first load. We may never build it.
Auto re-tag on metadata change
When a track's title or art updates, SyncX picks up the change on next sync and rewrites the ID3 tags.
